Dr. De Lorenzo is a scholar steeped in traditional Islamic learning. After completing his undergraduate studies in the USA he went abroad to Pakistan where he completed three years of research for
his doctoral dissertation on the Legal Rulings of the Qur’an
at Bahawalpur University.
He studied the classical
Islamic sciences for eight years with both Shaykh Muhammad
Yusuf al Bannuri and the Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Mufti
Wali Hasan in the acclaimed Dar ‘Ulum al Islamiyyah in
Karachi, Pakistan. He has twenty-five years of incomparable
experience in teaching and research along with work in the
translation of Islamic texts from Arabic, classical Persian,
and Urdu. He has specialized in interpreting Islamic legal
texts regarding trade and finance.

Quoted as being 'one of the gems of England...' by Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam Al-Kawthari, Shaykh Abdur Raheem is a
master of Qur'anic exegesis and the Arabic language. He initially studied at Dar al-Ulum Bury
(UK), where he is now the resident expositor of Imam Muslim's hadith
collection, and graduated from the famous seat of learnig Mazahir
al-Ulum, Saharanpur (India) under the tutorship of Shaykhul Hadith Moulana Yunus (May Allah presever him). He has also specialises in Tafseer particularly in the major Tafseer work of Imaam Baydhawi.
He has published two books
in the English language 'Ahsanul Qasas' -the story of the Prophet Yusuf
(alayhis salam) and the Dawah of Sayidduna Nuh (alayhis salam).

From the Indian city of Jaunpur, Shaykh Akram began is pursuit of knowledg at the prestigious Nadwatul 'Ulama (Lucknow, India), under the tutorship of Shaykh Abul Hasan Nadwi, specializing in hadith and fiqh, subjects that he also taught at the same institute.
He has a doctorate in Arabic Language from Lucknow University, India.
As a leading scholar steeped in traditional Islamic learning and in modern academia, Dr Akram is currently a research fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, Oxford.
